Project Background
A Hong Kong wholesale distributor ordered 2,000 sets of high-security airport fencing systems for a perimeter upgrade at a major international airport.
The project required a complete security solution that met strict international airport standards while integrating with existing surveillance and intrusion detection systems. The system included heavy-duty welded mesh panels, square posts, matching gates, and double-arm razor wire toppings. All components were powder-coated in RAL 6005 green for long-term corrosion resistance and visual compatibility with the airport landscape.

Quality Control
Strict inspections were carried out throughout production to meet airport security requirements.
- Raw Material Check: Verified 4.0 mm wire, 55 × 100 mm mesh, 40 × 60 × 2.0 mm gate frames and 60 × 60 × 2.0 mm posts.
- Bending & Welding Test: Checked four consistent 3D bends with ±1° tolerance and tested weld strength through random pull tests.
- Dimensional Inspection: Confirmed panel size, mesh spacing and 2.78 m post length for correct embedment.
- Coating Inspection: Tested coating adhesion and verified the RAL 6005 colour under natural and artificial light.
- Gate Function Test: Checked shafts, sockets, hinges, latches and locks for alignment, smooth operation and secure fastening.
- Razor Wire Inspection: Verified double-arm alignment, razor wire consistency and corrosion protection.
- Pre-shipment Assembly: Trial-assembled selected panels, posts, double arms, gates and hardware to confirm compatibility and functionality.

Post-Installation Showcase

- Surveillance Visibility: The 55 × 100 mm mesh openings maintained clear sightlines for CCTV systems and security patrols.
- Long-Term Durability: The 80+ micron powder coating provided strong resistance to coastal corrosion, UV exposure and mechanical wear, supporting long-term, low-maintenance service.
