65 kg Dynamic Impact Test for Edge Protection Fence

To evaluate the impact resistance and structural stability of the edge protection fence, we conducted an internal dynamic impact test using a 65 kg weighted bag.

The tested edge protection fence features a double horizontal wire design that reinforces the welded mesh panel and helps distribute impact loads across the structure.

Test Process

The edge protection fence was assembled with its supporting posts and fixing components to simulate the installed condition. During the test, a 65 kg weighted bag was released to strike the fence panel, applying a dynamic impact to the protection system.

The test evaluated the performance of the complete system, including:

  • Panel deformation
  • Welded wire integrity
  • Double horizontal wire reinforcement
  • Panel-to-post connections
  • Supporting post stability
  • Overall barrier integrity
Test Performance

During impact, the fence panel absorbed and distributed the applied load through the welded mesh and reinforced horizontal wire structure. The panel remained connected to the supporting system throughout the test, while the double horizontal wires reinforced the panel and helped distribute the impact load over a wider area.

The test demonstrated the structural stability and impact resistance of the complete edge protection fence system under dynamic loading.

Reliable Protection Through Testing

For construction safety products, overall performance depends on the combined strength of the panel, welded wires, reinforcement structure, posts, and fixing components. Through practical impact testing, we continuously verify product performance and improve the reliability of our edge protection fence systems for construction-site applications.
